Account Officer Job Description

We are looking for an Account Officer to help our Sales team and provide excellent customer service.

Account Officer duties include creating sales proposals, updating internal databases with client and contract information, and conducting market research. We'd would like contact you if you have strong communication skills and want to gain sales and marketing experience. Prior experience in customer service positions is preferred.  

Lastly, you'll assist in the execution of successful sales campaigns in order to increase customer engagement.

Account Officer Responsibilities

  • Create new sales proposals as well as contract renewals.
  • Contact customers via email or phone to answer questions or obtain account information.
  • Account information should be updated in internal databases (CRM).
  • As required, perform back-office sales tasks to assist Account Executives.
  • Investigate market trends and competition.
  • Produce sales and marketing campaign reports.
  • Keep both digital and paper records of invoices and contracts.
  • Resolve payment issues
  • Find new revenue opportunities.

Account Officer Requirements

  • Work experience as an Account Officer, Account Coordinator, or a similar position is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in customer service roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Client Relationship Management Systems (CRM)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
