We are looking for a forensic accountant to check our financial records for errors and inconsistencies. Tracing and retrieving illicit cash, documenting results, and describing how illegal operations were carried out are all tasks that fall under the purview of the forensic accountant.

An exceptional forensic accountant should be skilled at drafting reports, have above-average understanding of legal, tax, and accounting topics.

  • Analyze financial data and trace discrepancies
  • Acquiring and examining proof of illegal activity
  • Report on revenue losses and damages from contract breaches
  • Investigate intricate business problems to minimize the risks
  • Presenting the court's members with comprehensive and authoritative proof of financial violations
  • Perform regular financial record audits to ensure compliance with the law
  • Ensure all accounting procedures follow legislation
  • Maintain orderly records for all legal cases
  • Must ensure the confidentiality of all information
  • Forensic Accountant
  • Proven work experience as a Forensic Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or relevant role
  • 2 years minimum of experience in an accounting or auditing role
  • Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering laws
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent numeracy skills with an ability to spot inaccuracies
  • The ability to handle confidential information
  • BSc degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • Additional qualification in Economic Crime Investigation or Law Enforcement will be a plus
