We're seeking for a motivated, experienced leasing agent to help us advertise and lease our properties. The leasing agent will ensure that properties are well-maintained, market them, and screen potential tenants. You will maintain positive relationships with property owners and tenants, contribute to a positive workplace climate, and project a positive image of the organisation through your actions. You will also be in charge of overseeing and coordinating new tenant orientations, as well as assisting with office administration and secretarial duties.

• Present homes and provided facilities in a favourable manner to the prospective tenants.  

• Assist property owners in navigating the real estate market by acting as a landlord.  

• Use a variety of media and promotional resources to publicise available properties.  

• Determine the demands, lifestyles, and financial viability of potential clients.  

• Verify the information on the rental application and personal references.  

• Keep up to date on the state of the real estate market.  

• Provide details on all facets of the property (expansion, zoning, crime etc)  

• Close business by negotiating lease terms and conditions.  

• Ensure that properties are well-maintained and that they are inspected on a regular basis.

• GED, or an appropriate alternative to a high school diploma.  

• 3+ years of experience as a leasing agent or in a similar role.  

• Knowledge of the real estate sector, property management principles, and applicable legislation is required.  

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are required.  

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  

• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.  

• Strong interpersonal skills.  

• Available to work a variety of shifts.
