We are looking for a pleasant and competitive sales promoter that thrives in attracting new customers. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of product/services presentations, generating interest and qualifying sales prospects.

The sales promoters are typically given sales targets to meet, so they must work to achieve these targets. This may involve developing strategies to increase sales and using various techniques to close deals.

Responsibilities
  • A sales promoter must provide all the needed information on promoted products and services
  • Assist customers in finding the suitable product they are looking for
  • Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, suggest purchase options and invite them to upcoming events
  • Consistently seek new product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
  • Must have in-depth knowledge about features, benefits and limitations of the product or service
  • Present products using interactive materials such as videos, charts, slideshows etc
  • Set up booths or promotional stands and stock products
  • Arrange merchandise to look tidy and attractive to customers
  • Disseminate product samples, brochures, flyers etc
  • Engage with customer and discover their wants and needs
  • Must make sure to complete the targets assigned to them
  • Sales promoters must keep records of their sales activities and report their progress to management
  • Must track sales figures, maintain customer databases, and provide feedback on customer preferences and trends

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or similar is a must.
  • Bachelors Degree in marketing preferable.
  • Must have previous sales experience
  • Sales promoters must be able to organize their work and manage their time effectively.
  • Must be familiar with computers and softwares to keep track of sales data, maintain customer databases, and perform other job-related tasks.
  • Must have sharp customer service skills.
  • Speaking persuasively and at ease when giving presentations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good observation skills.
