We are searching for a top-notch general counsel who will strengthen and bring value to our company. You will make sure the business always complies with the law, provide legal advice, establish an effective organization's guardian, and aid in the formulation of business strategies. The chosen applicant will be able to minimise risk exposure and ensure legal compliance. The negotiation and management of client contracts, insurance issues, and employee relations will fall within the purview of the general counsel.

• Advising executive members on new laws, existing laws and legal rights that would impact functionality of the business
• Overseeing the legal matters of the business as a whole, including acting as the business’ legal representative
• Maintaining knowledge of the company’s legal documents and operations
• Crafting and reviewing legal strategy in response to any litigation
• Build relationships of mutual respect and trust with major stakeholders.
• Keeping a record of all legal documents and proceedings for the company
• Facilitating filings of licensing forms and other statutory requirements
• Communicating with outside counsel
• Legally filing for copyright of intellectual property

• BSc degree in Law or J.D. degree.
• 4+ years of practice with an established law firm.
• Comprehensive knowledge of how legal issues impact organizations
• A strong legal background with expertise in M&A, venture capital funding, and fund investments.
• Experience with corporate governance issues and corporate secretarial duties.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of business-related laws, rules, and regulations.
• Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.
