We are looking for an Escrow Assistant to join our team and enhance the efficiency of real estate transaction closures by providing dedicated support to Escrow Officers. The duties of an Escrow Assistant include the preparation of real estate documents and the organization and upkeep of files as required. You will partner with Escrow Officers to efficiently manage administrative tasks and facilitate real estate transaction closures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare requested documents and escrow instructions based on written instructions from principals.
  • Send executed loan packages back to the lender for review and approval, following lender instructions.
  • Prepare and deliver recording packages according to escrow instructions, ensuring the collection of appropriate title premiums and recording fees.
  • Disburse escrow files in alignment with written settlement statements upon receiving funds.
  • Review reports to identify any liens, encumbrances, or other issues that may affect the property's title and communicate relevant information to the parties involved.
  • Assist escrow officers or teams with general administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, preparing reports, maintaining office supplies, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Coordinate with various parties, research solutions, and provide alternative options to overcome obstacles.

Requirements
  • Proven work experience as an Escrow Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Previous background in banking or real estate.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Customer service orientation is essential.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Possession of relevant training and certifications as an Escrow Assistant.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively communicating with various stakeholders involved in the escrow process
  • Escrow assistants should possess strong customer service skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
