As a Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for handling the company’s end to end sourcing operations. The successful candidate will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities.

  • Evaluating sourcing procedures and presenting improvement strategies to senior management for approval.
  • Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies.
  • Driving purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends.
  • Negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.
  • Collaborating with the procurement department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities.
  • Conducting market research, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts.
  • Hiring, training, and managing procurement department employees.
  • Estimating risks and applying risk minimizing techniques, as well as negotiating contracts that comply with industry regulations.
  • Maintaining strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships.

Requirements

  • Previous working experience as a Sourcing Manager for (x) years
  • Hands on experience with sourcing software
  • Outstanding negotiation abilities
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great communication, interpersonal and networking skills
  • Any additional training or certificate will be considered an advantage
  • MA in Business Administration, Logistics, or similar relevant field
