How long have you been using the peopleHum platform?
We're an insurance and reinsurance broker and we have offices in Cyprus and in Lebanon. Actually, we started using peopleHum in December of last year. So it's been around six, almost seven months that we've actively been using it.
What has been your overall experience thus far?
To be honest, it's been very user-friendly, our team has been very happy using peopleHum. For sure, we still have a few implementations that we're working on. But otherwise, we really found it easy to integrate it into our company, and it was a very good change on the HR side.
What features or aspects of peopleHum do you find most valuable for your organization?
Before we started using peopleHum, we had another HR system we were using, but it was purely for the leave request process. So, when I found peopleHum, I realized that there are a lot of other modules that we could make use of, and this really proved to be the point when I started using the system because initially, I did want to replace the leave request process. So this was the first part of it and then seeing how much more the system can do in terms of HR filing and everything digital, you know, as it is on one cloud, it made things so much easier for me because previously I had everything saved in files and Excel sheets. So now it's just that everyone has their own profile. And this was really, the biggest addition to the leave request, apart from all the extra things we have such as the engagement and the quizzes and all these things that the team is really having fun using on a daily basis.
How has peopleHum contributed to streamlining the HR process across your organization?
Actually, I mean, for me on the HR side, I definitely like the easy use of the documents that I can upload for each person which really helps to find things. So as soon as I have an employee, I can enter their name and find all the documents that have been saved in their file, and that's also much easier because I have access to it from my phone as well. So if I'm ever not on the laptop, I can easily just download the document I need and send it to them. So they've been very surprised that I'm always, you know, ready to send them whatever they need, even if they don't have it available at that time and additionally, the board, like the home page, the wall that we're using, it's been very active and nice for the team and in terms of the recognition and the stickers and these things. So they're happy using them the birthdays and this, so this helps too, to engage our team with each other because it's like a social media platform actually, just for us.
Would you recommend peopleHum to other businesses?
I have actually already recommended peopleHum to any business partner that I may speak to and friends of mine who also are owners of companies because when they start complaining about their HR and when I say that I'm an HR they say, “oh God, it's so much paperwork”. It's so many things you have to work on, especially when you have an onboarding or off-boarding. All these processes are, you know, they really take time. So I say, you know, you need to use peopleHum because it really makes your life so much easier. You have a great overview and especially for bigger companies. I mean, for my case, we're in the 22 to 25 range when other people have, you know, much bigger teams, it makes life much easier. And this is what I say, you know, the leave processes. Now I'm so surprised when I hear people that they are still in the leave process with the paper, you know, that was like us maybe more than five years ago. And I say no, it's just a press of a button. You know, when you have a system like peopleHum and it's really worth it.
How would you describe your overall customer experience with the peopleHum team?
So compared to the pricing and what we make use of, it's really, really worth it. The team that I've been working with, it's the first time that we meet. But this was really one of the biggest matters that made me move to peopleHum was the ease of communication that I had with the team and I got used to using the customer portal, which is, it's very easy to use. Whenever I have a question, I just raise a request and I get a reply in case we need to work on anything, we just jump on a call and we figure it out together. So there was never a time where I had to wait for people to get back to me. In the contrary, you know, I asked them questions and they usually follow up with me!
